Bala Fort Alwar: Information About Monument
The huge Bala Qila (young fort) was first built by Hasan Khan Mewati in around the year 1550. It is also called as the Alwar Fort. This Monument was built on the foundations of a 10th century mud fort and is a towering structure set atop a hill. This fort has ruled by seen different royal houses over. Surrounded by the majestic Aravalli Hills, each structure inside the fort represents the opulence of the bygone era, especially the Nikumbha Mahal Palace, which is built using Bengal caned marble pillars along with large latticed balconies.
